Lunch & Learn: How to Take Professional Looking Photos With Your Smartphone- Tuesday 2nd June
The Cheshire and Warrington Business Growth Programme is hosting regular ‘lunch and learn’ webinars to offer support and advice to local businesses. Each session will focus on a different business topic and be led by a guest expert who will share their knowledge and top tips, then answer some of your questions.
It is vital for your business to have a strong and impactful online presence and professional looking images are essential if you wish to stand out from the crowd and get maximum engagement. I will give you some top tips on how to get the most out of the camera on your phone, how to work with the best light, how best to compose and take the shot and, finally, how to edit it quickly and easily to enhance it. The emphasis will be on lifestyle food and product photography using natural light. I will do a live demo of setting up, shooting and editing a simple food image.

Who can attend?
Anyone can attend these informal sessions, not just those registered on the ERDF-funded Cheshire and Warrington Business Growth Programme. However, we would encourage local SMEs to have a chat to us about what the programme can offer you beyond these sessions, including longer workshops and 121s bgp_new_enquiries@chester.ac.uk.
How to join the webinar
Once you have registered on Eventbrite you should receive an automatic email inviting you to a Zoom session, let us know if you do not receive this within an hour of signing up. If you have not used Zoom before try downloading and testing it out beforehand. Here is a link to some tutorials if you struggle or you can email us bgp_new_enquiries@chester.ac.uk.
What to expect in the webinar
When you enter the webinar you will automatically be on mute and you will not be expected to have your video on. There will be a chat box down the side where you can ask your questions to the expert, which we highly encourage, or you may prefer just to listen. We aim for the webinars to be as accessible to all as possible so you can be as active as you wish.
