Lunch and Learn: What to Say on Social Media- Tuesday 19th May
The Cheshire and Warrington Business Growth Programme is hosting regular ‘lunch and learn’ webinars to offer support and advice to local businesses. Each session will focus on a different business topic and be led by a guest expert who will share their knowledge and top tips, then answer some of your questions.
With most businesses having a social media presence, with most business owners posting, tweeting pinning and sharing there is now an unending deluge of irrelevant, uninteresting and self-serving content washing over all of us.
Most people don’t really know what to say, what to talk about on social media, they are unclear of its purpose, and so how social media can really be used to support their business. So they can often say the wrong things, in the wrong places, in the wrong quantity.
This session will discuss eleven simple questions that each business can answer, which provide a simple framework on which to hang their social content. Eleven simple questions that will allow small business owners to decide what they are going to say, and how often they are going to say it. Saving time, and resources, and making their social media part of their marketing strategy, and so support the business in achieving its goals.
Something that is even more important over the next few months.
Martin Corlett-Moss has many years of digital marketing and traditional marketing experience across a wide range of market sectors and runs his own successful marketing agency, MCM2, in Nantwich.

How to join the webinar
Once you have registered on Eventbrite you should receive an automatic email inviting you to a Zoom session, let us know if you do not receive this within an hour of signing up. If you have not used Zoom before try downloading and testing it out beforehand. Here is a link to some tutorials if you struggle or you can email us bgp_new_enquiries@chester.ac.uk.
What to expect in the webinar
When you enter the webinar you will automatically be on mute and you will not be expected to have your video on. There will be a chat box down the side where you can ask your questions to the expert, which we highly encourage, or you may prefer just to listen. We aim for the webinars to be as accessible to all as possible so you can be as active as you wish.
