Lunch and Learn: 4 Ways to Wellbeing in Isolation- Thursday 7th May
About this Event
The Cheshire and Warrington Business Growth Programme is hosting regular ‘lunch and learn’ webinars to offer support and advice to local businesses. Each session will focus on a different business topic and be led by a guest expert who will share their knowledge and top tips, then answer some of your questions.
4 Ways to Wellbeing in Isolation, delivered by Sean Bailey Wellness
An informal 45-minute session to discover ways in which you can maintain and enhance your physical and mental wellbeing and the wellbeing of your staff (if relevant). With many of us isolated in line with the official government guidance, our wellbeing will undoubtedly be challenged which is why we need to re-focus our attention on what we can do and what we can achieve. Within each focus area, we will provide four simple tips that can benefit your wellbeing. The four key areas to wellbeing covered in this session are sleep, hydration, nutrition and activity.
All of our work is evidence based supported by published research.
In this session we will cover:
- Sleep – why we need to improve our sleep and four simple ways we can achieve this.
- Hydration – why it is important to maintain optimal levels of hydration and four simple ways we can achieve this.
- Nutrition – how and why we can improve our nutrition intake during lockdown and isolation.
- Activity – how and why we can overcome the challenges of inactivity during lockdown and isolation.
Sean Bailey, owner of Sean Bailey Wellness will deliver the session. Sean has worked in the Corporate sector for 20 years for a number of FSTE organisations. Alongside his work in the corporate sector Sean was an elite football coach, working at Manchester United and The FA and was the BBC Sport Get Inspired Unsung Hero of the Year in 2017.
