Food Photography for Beginners- 9th,16th,& 23rd October 2020
Food Photography for Beginners
This workshop is split between three sessions on Friday 9th, Friday 16th and Friday 23rd October, 09:30 – 11:30. Attendees must be able to attend all three sessions.
High quality images are a ‘must have’ part of your marketing strategy if you want to stand out from the competition. Professional food and product photographer Jane Burkinshaw will show you how to create and shoot outstanding images of your products, providing you with skills that you can take back to your workplace and easily and practically implement.
The workshop is for people with little or no photography experience (phone or camera). No previous experience of product styling or editing is required. No specialist equipment is required although the Delivery Partner may recommend buying a few items post workshop.
Attendees will leave this workshop having learned the practical skills to set up and style a table-top food (or product) shot, ideal for use on social media and websites*. You will learn how to use the settings and options on a smartphone and a camera to take professional looking images. Attendees will be encouraged to objectively critique their photographs and decide which ones should end up ‘on the cutting room floor’ and which ones should be edited and used in their marketing activities. Attendees will be invited to join a private Facebook Group (Love Your Lens Foodies) where they can receive ongoing support and feedback from Jane and other members in the group.
