Create a Facebook Group for Your Business
This session will take place from 11am-12pm over 4 days: Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th April.
Becs Bate (Social Media Executive) is hosting a workshop that will take you through step-by-step how to create a Facebook group for your business.
Facebook groups are community forums, where people interact and share a common interest. They are great for businesses as you can build a highly engaged community of individuals who are interested in your sector and more importantly may be interested in the products and services you have to offer. The content you post in your group with have much higher visibility than posts on your Facebook page – providing you manage it in the right way.
This is a small workshop designed to help you grow your business through Facebook groups (maximum 10 people, so book early!)
Whether you’re a complete novice or a seasoned digital socialiser, Becs can help you review your marketing approach to increase visibility and engagement to help grow your business.
This workshop will show you how to create and embrace Facebook groups to help you generate leads and increase engagement.

Who can attend?
You need to be registered, or be eligible to register, on the ERDF-funded Cheshire and Warrington Business Growth Programme. To be eligible you must be:
- Small – your business must be an SME. An SME has under 250 staff, turnover of £45 million and any ownership by a wider commercial group is below 25%. You may also be a pre-start business.
- Local – your business address (registered or trading) or home address is within the Cheshire East, the Cheshire West and Chester, or the Warrington council areas.
- Able to commit to receiving 12 hours of support through our workshops and 121s before the end of 2020.

How to join the online workshop
Once you have registered on Eventbrite you should receive an automatic email inviting you to a Zoom session, let us know if you do not receive this within an hour of signing up. If you have not used Zoom before, try downloading and testing it out beforehand. Here is a link to some tutorials if you struggle or you can email us email@example.com.
